Personal and Specific Learning Objectives
Your CoBuild Dutch course is always based on your carefully formulated learning objectives. These personal and specific learning objectives can be determined in an online or face-to-face Free Dutch Course if you are a beginner of Dutch or in a Free Learning Needs Analysis if you are an intermediate or advanced learner of Dutch.
Focus on Functional Language
We believe that you want to learn the Dutch language to use it. And no matter when and where you use it, your Dutch should always be functional. That is why, in our courses we focus on teaching you Dutch for situations that are relevant to you.
Flexible Planning
We also believe that it is very well possible to successfully organise your Dutch language learning around your busy schedule, no matter what type of course you eventually decide to take. Our face-to-face and online course arrangements allow you to decide for yourself how you would like to organise your Dutch learning.
Appealing and Meaningful Course Material
Additonally, we believe that motivation is the key to successful language learning. And that is why we go through great lengths to deliver our courses in a refreshing way and always in tune with your learning style. We initially do not work with course books, but mainly work task-based. This means that we offer practical and appealing exercises and assignments (tasks) that help you to improve your Dutch listening, speaking, reading and/or writing skills altogether, while you also learn about grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, etc. in a supportive way.
(Monitored) Self-Study and Accountability
And, last but not least, we believe that, next to motivation, your commitment is indispensable for your language learning success. We, therefore, offer you tools to hold you accountable for your own language learning process. One of these tools is our CoBuild Connect Learning Space. This learning space enables you to continue your Dutch learning beyond contact hours with learning content that is relevant and appealing to you! Your tasks in the learning space will be carefully planned at times that you can actually do them. Your progress will be monitored and you will get written and/or spoken feedback on your task performances.
